Nairn is on the A96 between Aberdeen and Inverness. If travelling from the South you are best to take the A9 to Inverness then the A96. Alternatively the B9007 road via Carrbridge and Dava Moor is very scenic but may in winter prove troublesome.

Nairn has its own station and Duntroon is only 5 minutes walk from the station.

Inverness airport is 9 miles away

Several buses stop throughout Nairn. Duntroon is right next to the tall spire of St. Ninnians Church.
